How I chose my topic
The group chose Leonardo da Vinci for our history project because he was an interesting person. He had a lot of careers.
He was a creative person who created the numbers one through ten. The whole group already knew that Leonardo da Vinci was
an artist, so we thought it would be fun to choose him. His many careers made him famous.
How I conducted my research
The group had started on some books for research. After a few days we started internet research. We found about seven
to nine websites about him. We read through the books and internet resources about him to make sure that the information
was accurate. Then we found detailed images of Leonardo da Vinci and his works. After that we started to put the
information on our site, but in our own words. After many sites and having to read the information/biographies over and over
again, the group learned more about our topic.
How I created and Developed my website
First of all, we tried our hardest to find a free web builder to make our site. We made about four or five websites,
but they weren't good enough. So we moved on to other web builders. It took us about a month and a half to find a good one
to use. After finding the stuff we needed, we started by making the navigation bar. Each person had a job to do. When the
NavBar was completed, we started working on the homepage, where we put a little bit of information about his first works.
After everything was done, we made a gallery of Leonardo da Vinci and his works.
How my project relates to the theme
Our history project relates to the theme by what Leonardo da Vinci did, and what he stood up for.If it wasn't for
Leonardo da Vinci, we would have never got the idea for the numbers we still use today. He was an engineer, who helped the
military, scientist who created numbers, artist who had a creative mind and mathematician. This is why our topic relates to
the theme.
